Why Simona Halep is ranked on 4-th in WTA ranking

I was recently asked by a tennis fan, why Simona Halep is the 4-th WTA place, especially since for a good period of time no longer confirm? I started to research the statistics and  I found many arguments to justify this honor place for our star

Obviously we started the study with May 2013, when she „exploded” at Rome, eliminating great players of the world like Hantuchova, Radwanska, Kuznetsova, Vinci, Jankovic. Simona has good record against current players in the top 10. She managed 21 wins and 19 defeats, and if removing matches with Serena Williams (she is from another planet), her score would be 20-12 , it is a compelling argument. The score with Serena is 1-7, 3-3 with Angie, Karolina 4-0, 1-2 with Domi, 5-2 with Aga, 1-1 Garbine, 3-2 with Sveta, Madison 3-1 and 0-1 with Johanna. It is clear that the place of Simo is on tops the world, even if in the immediate future it can not defend her position, and will assist at the assault from behind anothers players. I wish her speedy recovery to him and strong resurgence in the spring.

Another argument is the number of tournaments won by Simo, among which Indian Wells, Madrid, Montreal, Doha, Dubai, New Haven or Sofia. Serena has won 72 tournaments, then Aga 20, Sveta 17, Simona 14, Angie 10, Karolina and Domi 8, Garbine 3, Madison and Johanna 2.

Now  Simona is 25 years old, has much say in tennis on the future, after then has time for a happy family life, with at least three children …!
